THE COW PRINT TREND

The leopard print fever has faded a little, and there's a new print ruling the scene in the fashion world, I am talking about the cow print. This year the pretty black and white or white and brownish cow print had taken over, and everyone is using it and wearing it. Big brands like Burberry to online retailers like Asos are delivering the popular print that became the official "print trend" of 2019. In my opinion, I think it is adorable, pretty and I really like it.
The popularity of this print might have started last year with the increasing popularity of Doja Cat, who became viral with her "Moo" single and this year with Coachella girls trying to update the typical Coachella floral boho look into something more cowboy and desert-inspired.
In the high fashion side of the industry, Burberry made it ALL in this print - from handbags to a cute mini-skirt that got its viral moment on social media. Tory Burch also introduced the print for Pre-fall 2019 with a warm southwest style in brown shades for jackets, shoes, and purses, and Victoria Beckham designed a long dress with a subtle version of the print and a 3/4 sleeve (definitely very elegant and chic).

If you have been following me for some time now, you should know that I am vegan, so you may be curious how a vegan see the use of the cow print in the fashion industry...Well, I think it is beautiful to use inspiration from nature and if you are not using the real cow skin is totally fine and an excellent way to admire an animal's print. The problem is when you start using the real cow skin to fit into the trend and that my friends...that I don't approve!. But this trend is basically the same as wearing leopard printed clothes and not wearing the animal's real skin and that's OK for me.

Today I am sharing with you how I rock this trend with my pants from The Editors, a brand that makes everything in Italy and cares about tradition, craftsmanship, and ethical production. They produce limited quantities of the latest trends, and honestly, their clothes look great in person. I styled my cow-printed pants with a black crop top knotted in the back, which has a deep collar and wide sleeves and added a black beret and black ankle booties to transform the look into the perfect fall style.
What do you think? I am curious to know your thoughts on this trend and also how you would style it for the winter season. Comment about it below, and please start following me on Instagram if you aren't doing it already.
