As an emerging fashion designer and someone who really loves fashion in general, my favorite event of all time have to be the MET GALA. This fantastic event is the perfect time for designers and celebrities to have the creative freedom to use their imagination and find the best look that can possibly fit the theme of each year. 

I usually visit each Costume Institute exhibition at least 3 times while the collection is being displayed. It is an opportunity to see and analyze designs from highly-recognized fashion designers from all times and try to get into their mindset of how they had constructed their work and how the designs are related to the selected theme every year. I genuinely love the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, and it has been a second home for me since I moved to NY.

This year the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala was dedicated specially to the exhibition of Charles James. I am savvy of Charles James'designs because I had to learn about him for my Fashion history class and I based my final paper on his life and one of his famous gowns . His aesthetic was mainly based on the ballroom scene and the creation of intricate construction.

This year the gala is supposed to be an exhibition about the greatest American couturier of all time and I am not quite sure if all the celebrities and their stylist knew about this.

Este año, la gala del Museo Metropolitano de Arte fue dedicada especialmente a la exhibición de Charles James. Considero que tengo conocimiento acerca de James y sus diseños porque tuve que aprender de él para mi clase de Historia de la moda; además basé mi trabajo final sobre su vida y uno de sus famosos vestidos. Su estética principalmente se basó en los bailes de salon y la construcción intrincada. 

Se supone que este año es una exposición sobre la mayor couturier estadounidense de todos los tiempos y no estoy muy segura de si todas las celebridades y su estilistas sabían de esto. Asi que los dejo con algunas de las celebridades peor vestidas en la Gala Met:

Para cerrar esta semana en la que se dio acabo el importante evento de la Met Gala de Nueva York en el que se celebra la apertura de cada año del museo Metropolitano y su exposición predominante de la moda, la cual este año trata de dos famosas diseñadoras de diferente época Elsa Schiaparelli y Miuccia Prada, que fueron reunidas mediante una inocente conversación acerca de su trabajo y en general la moda.

La gala de apertura a esta exposicion es lo que conocemos como la Met Gala y aqui les quiero presentar mis favoritas de la Red Carpet.Yo se que estarán de acuerdo con mi eleccion !

To close this week, during which it was held the important Met Gala in New York.It celebrated the opening of the Metropolitan Museum and its fashion exhibition, each year.This year is about two famous designers: Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, who were gathered through an innocent conversation about their work and overall fashion.

The opening gala of this exhibition is what is known as the Met Gala.Now , I want to introduce my favorites of the Red Carpet.I know that you will agree with my choice !
