Welcome back to Fashion Fab News! It has been a while, I know! 

I think 2020 forced us into a deep introspection of our lives and what matters the most for our present and near future. In my case, I didn't feel my own self and had to work hard trying to heal, understand other people, and learn more about my life in general. 

Something that always helps me when I am separated from myself, it is walking in nature. This year visiting different national parks or regular city parks with my family has been something that grounds me and makes me feel better immediately. It is nice to appreciate nature and its beauty while exercising and talking to your loved ones.

Today I want to share with you one of my family's adventures in nature. We wanted to visit the BALANCED ROCK in North Salem, NY which it's a historical sacred site with a geological feature that has a fascinating shape and energy around it. On our way to this place, we couldn't resist ourselves to stop on the side of the road and appreciate the beautiful lake and natural scenery. 

Two weeks before this short trip, WARDROBE approached me to let me know more about their clothing renting services and how they are helping the fashion industry to be more sustainable with their system. Some of you that have been following me would know that I am a sustainable fashion designer and that this journey has changed me a lot. I was excited to try their renting service because they have luxury brands, their prices for renting are accessible and it was around my birthday date.  

Renting clothes is gaining a lot of popularity because we are caring more and more about our planet, people and what we wear. Bienvenidos de nuevo a Fashion Fab News! ¡Ha pasado mucho tiempo, lo sé!

Creo que 2020 nos obligó a hacer una profunda introspección de nuestras vidas y de lo que más importa para nuestro presente y futuro cercano. En mi caso, no me sentía a yo misma y tuve que trabajar duro para tratar de curarme, comprender a otras personas y aprender más sobre mi vida en general.

Algo que siempre me ayuda cuando estoy separada de mí misma es caminar en la naturaleza. Este año, visitar diferentes parques nacionales o parques regulares de la ciudad con mi familia ha sido algo que me motiva y me hace sentir mejor de inmediatamente. Es agradable apreciar la naturaleza y su belleza mientras haces ejercicio y habla con sus seres queridos.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una de las aventuras de mi familia en la naturaleza. Queríamos visitar a BALANCED ROCK en North Salem, NY, que es un sitio histórico sagrado con una creación geológica que tiene una forma y energía fascinantes a su alrededor. De camino a este lugar, no pudimos resistirnos a detenernos al costado de la carretera y apreciar el hermoso lago y el paisaje natural.

For makeup, I did a version of Hrush's Bronze makeup look which she created a couple of weeks before for her Youtube Channel. Hrush is a famous makeup artist that has worked with J.Lo, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. I like her personality and wanted to give it a try to this makeup look. This look is her go-to style for celebrities. 

These days I have been trying to improve my makeup application techniques by watching tutorials from the best makeup artists like Hindash and Hung Vanngo.

Para el maquillaje: Hice una versión del look Bronze de Hrush. Ella subio un tutorial un par de semanas atras en su canal de Youtube. Hrush es una famosa maquilladora que ha trabajado con J.Lo, Kim Kardashian y Kylie Jenner. Me gusta su personalidad y quería darle una oportunidad a este look de maquillaje. Este maquillaje es su estilo favorito para todas las celebridades.

MY KIM KARDASHIAN DENIM ON DENIM LOOK

I love Kim Kardashian, her style and her drama. Today I wanted to recreate one of her looks and I found one that everybody would be able to get and wear 

Denim-on-denim has been a contradictory topic in the fashion world, but in my case I really like to mix two or more garments with the same fabric.

The goal here is to find tops and bottoms with similar tones. As you can see my look has lighter colors than the Kim Kardashian's outfit, but it's as successful as hers because of the color balance. Just wear a monochrome denim outfit, find nude pointy pump to slim your figure and Voila!.

Me encanta Kim Kardashian, su estilo y todo su drama. Hoy quería recrear una de sus famosos conjuntos y encontré uno que todo el mundo escapaz de conseguir y usar.

Jean or denim ( tela de jean) sobre denim ha sido un tema contradictorio en el mundo de la moda, pero en mi caso a mi me gusta mucho mezclar dos o más prendas con la misma tela.

El objetivo aquí es encontrar que la parte superior e inferior tengan tonos similares. Como pueden ver mi look tiene colores más claros que el de Kim Kardashian, pero funciona igual de bien que el de ella ya que hay un balance de color. Solo tienes que usar ropa con un mismo tono - monochromatica, encontrar zapatos puntiagudos de color piel/nude para adelgazar tu figura y Voila !.

Lady Gaga Roseland Ballroom Concert

If you have been following me on Instagram and Facebook ,I am sure that you know how much I love Lady Gaga. I am huge fan of her music and her fashion style.

Last Friday I had the opportunity to go to one of her concerts at the Roseland Ballroom and let me tell you something, it was amazing!!!!

As a proud Little Monster (Lady Gaga Fan) I dressed up accordingly to the occasion. I got inspired by Lady Gaga's outfit for the H&M Times Sq. Store opening. It was a H&M jumpsuit, hand painted by Kerin Rose Gold.

I made my own jumpsuit and hand painted by myself!!! I really liked the result and It was worth the time that I spent recreating Lady Gaga's outfit. It was a great night with my friend and we really enjoyed the concert.

Si me sigues en Instagram y Facebook estoy segura de que sabes lo mucho que me encanta Lady Gaga. Yo soy un gran fan de su música y su estilo. 

El viernes pasado tuve la oportunidad de ir a uno de sus conciertos de ella en el Roseland Ballroom y dejenme decirles algo, fue increíble!! 

Como orgullosa Little Monster (Lady Gaga Fan) me vestí de acuerdo a la ocasión. Me inspiré en el traje de Lady Gaga para la apertura de la tienda H&M de Times Sq. Fue un overol de h&m pintado a mano por Kerin Rose Gold. 

Yo hice mi propio overol y lo pinte con mis propias manos! Me gusto mucho el resultado y valió la pena el tiempo que pasé recreando el traje de Lady Gaga. Fue una gran noche con mi amigo y el concierto me gusto demasiado.

No more snow Outfit

It has been a tough winter here in NY and even when I hate summer I have to admit that this winter was pretty cold.

During this season everybody wears black all the time, but I like to change sometimes and catch everybody's attention wearing a bright colored coat. These months, colored coats were a hit. You could wear a simple outfit and match it with one colorful coat and the result would be really nice.

My royal blue Jacket is not a wool coat, but it definitely stands out and I like it.

Ha sido un invierno realmente fuerte en Nueva York y aunque no soy fan del verano tengo que admitir que el invierno fue super fuerte.

Durante esta temporada todo el mundo lleva ropa de color negro todo el tiempo , pero a veces es bueno cambiar y llamar la atención de todo el mundo con un abrigo de color fuerte. Estos meses abrigos de colores fueron un éxito , ya que podrías usar algo mas simple y sencillo debajo para así combinarlo con el abrigo colorido y crear un gran atuendo.

Mi chaqueta azul rey no es un abrigo de lana pero definitivamente sobresale y eso me gusta.

Birthday Outfit 2013

I know that has been so long since the last post , but you really dont know how tough is fashion design this semester ... we dont sleep at all!!! and even when my birthday was on Sunday and I went out on Saturday with some friends I had to sacrifice my Sunday sleeping  for those 4 hr hanging out with them and celebrating that I´m older now, thus I haven't posted frequently because of my school and I want to apology .

My birthday outfit was kind of rocky , so I decide to wear a neon bow to make it nicer. I like how it turned out and I hope you too.

Yo sé que ha sido demasiado tiempo desde mi ultima entrada pero es que la verdad no se imaginan lo pesado que es diseño de modas... no podemos dormir para nada!! ,inclusive en mi cumpleaños que decidí salir el sábado por la noche,me costo  el sacrificio del no sueño el domingo de mi cumpleaños para poder terminar las tareas. Me quiero disculpar por no escribir más seguido y culpen a mi universidad.

This semester I have to take classes in my school's building in Midtown Manhattan next to Times Square.

I really like to be close to the Gigantic advertisements, but it could be overwhelming. I havent found a good Juice Bar close to 40 st and 7 av ;so if you know about one ,let me know ! lol

Este semestre tengo clase en el edificio de mi Universidad que queda ubicado en el centro de Manhattan cerca a Times Square.y la verdad es que me gusta estar cerca de la publicidad gigantesca pero a veces puede llegar a ser abrumador.

Hi dear reader! Thank you for reading me. Today I want to show you my outfit and my cap with spikes which I really like . To create this outfit, I went to UNIQLO (Japanese store) and bought so many good pieces that match with everything.

I'm in love with this brand because it has the best basics for any wardrobe and the prices are affordable. Plus you can find those soft and light weight material shirts that made this brand famous. 

NYFW News : I promise that I will show you some streetstyle pictures and fresh news from this coming New York Fashion Week. I totally love this season and I´m preparing my closet and myself for this amazing time.

Para crear este conjunto fui a UNIQLO (tienda de origen Japones) y compre demasiada ropa que combina con todo lo que desees. Estoy encantada con esta marca porque tiene los mejores básicos para tu armario y los precios son super asequibles. Además puedes encontrar materiales super suaves y ligeros en sus camisas, una característica que los hizo famosos. 

Noticias Semana de la Moda NYC:  Prometo que les mostrare fotos del estilo de las personas en calle y prometo que los tendré al tanto de cada nuevo anuncio. En verdad me encanta esta temporada y ya estoy preparándome tanto mental como psicologicamente para este importante evento.
