I love my outfit: « 4th of July »

El miércoles pasado se celebró la independencia de Estados Unidos y como fiesta nacional era un día que merecía hacer honor a la bandera. Todos querían usar blanco,azul y rojo y hacer algo en familia o con amigos.Mi idea principal era ir a ver los juegos pirotécnicos en el centro de Washington D.C. pero cuando termine de trabajar era demasiado tarde para ir a alcanzar a ver el show.

Last Wednesday was celebrated U.S. independence and that national holiday was a day that deserved to honor the flag. Everyone wanted to wear white, blue and red; and do something with family or friends. My idea was to go and see the fireworks in downtown Washington DC but when I finished my work, it was too late to go and catch a glimpse of the show.

Por último decidí salir por la noche solo por celebrar el día y usar la falda de estrellas que hacia alusión a la bandera y que yo misma la hice.

Compre la tela en mi último viaje a Nueva york y como donde estoy ahora no tengo mi maquina de coser, técnicamente cosí mi falda a mano, pero al final creo que al menos logré tener algo que reflejara el  "Cuatro de Julio". Qué opinan ustedes?

Finally, I decided to go out at night only to celebrate the day and wear the stars skirt alluded the  U.S. flag, and that I made by myself.

I bought the fabric on my last trip to New York and where I am now I don´t have my sewing machine, and technically my skirt was sewed by hand; but at the end I think that at least I had something to reflect the "Fourth of July". What do you think?
